New Beginnings ~ Chapter 2: Ending

It's the start of a new life. Or so I think. But it's only the next day when catastrophe falls. When the world collapses upon my shoulders.

"Mother and Father are leaving each other."

"But why..." My voice is pathetic. Weak.

"Reasons." The answer I get is vague. I'm left in the dark. Another corner of despair to live in. Just yesterday, I had him. I had Mother. Father. Now I have nothing. Nothing but my own selfishness.

I am nothing but a shell.

Dead to the world.

Alone.

I bury my head into a pillow. And I cry.
